Naming RG3 Starting Quarterback Just Makes Sense

Washington Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan was right to go ahead and name Robert Griffin III as the starting quarterback.  There was no reason to wait. To invest as much as the Washington Redskins have in acquiring the second round draft pick that landed RG3 and not have him as the starter would have left us all scratching our heads. While it may have been common sense, it needed to be publicly said.  The importance of getting the word out became more prevalent with the pickup of Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins. Read more here…
