2016 Newport News Ambassador Pass allows free admission to eight area attractions

The city of Newport News has announced its 2016 Ambassador Pass program, which started January 2nd and runs through the 29th of this month.  Now in its 17th year, the program provides free passes to area attractions for Newport News residents and city employees. The one-time free admission is good for the following eight attractions for two adults and two children on the following dates:

January 2 – 8, 2016
Peninsula Fine Arts Center
Peninsula SPCA & Petting Zoo

January 9 – 15, 2016
The Mariners Museum
Virginia War Museum

January 16 – 22, 2016
Endview Plantation
James A. Fields House 

January 23 – 29, 2016
Virginia Living Museum
Lee Hall Mansion

Passes can be obtained daily from the Newport News Visitor Center (located at the entrance of Newport News Park) from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in addition to two other locations. Proof of residency or city employment must be presented in order to obtain passes.
